Tine and Tominga will be having a bottle of La Sorga wine and talking about the inception of Karmaklubb*; Tominga’s queer curatorial approach to ‘Munchmuseet on the Move’ with examples from Sam Hultin’s ‘I’m Every Lesbian – Oslo’ (2016), ‘TROLLKREM IMPORT’ with Vaginal Davis, Seth Bogart, Vaginal Davies and their float for Oslo Pride (2018), ‘Summer Night by the Beach’ by Kirsten Astrup & Maria Bordorff (2019); and future plans, desires and longings for queer club culture.


Who are you?


Tominga Hope O’Donnell is Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Munch Museum in Oslo, where she curated the programme ‘Munchmuseet on the Move’ (2016–2019) for which she received the Norwegian Art Critics’ Award (Kunstkritikerprisen).

Her educational background includes a BA in Modern History and Politics from the University of Oxford, an MA Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, an MRes from the London Consortium, and a PhD from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design on the exhibition as a spatial construct.

O’Donnell is also Associate Professor (20 percent) at The Art Academy – Department of Contemporary Art at the University of Bergen (2018–).
